Family Parties & Celebrations

Having been continuously lived in since it was built, Gilmerton bestows an ambience many of the larger houses of its kind lack. The house lends itself as an ideal setting for conferences, promotions, wedding receptions, dances, dinners, family parties, and filming groups.

Gilmerton House has a very relaxed atmosphere and is the ideal setting for a family gathering or special celebration. We can accommodate up to 40 guests in the Music Room for dinner and for smaller groups of up to 16 in the dining room. Pre-dinner drinks can be served in the upstairs drawing room followed by dinner either in the Music Room or Dining Room with coffee & liqueurs served in the downstairs Drawing Room.
